The Port of Newport's regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Grievance Process

The written grievance alleging a violation by the Port of Newport of provisions in Public Meetings Law shall be submitted to the Port of Newport within 30 calendar days from the date of the meeting where the alleged violation occurred. The written grievance shall identify:  

• The governing body that allegedly violated the Public Meetings Law;  
• The date of the meeting where the alleged violation occurred;  
• The specific facts and circumstances that the person asserts amount to a violation of the Public Meetings Law;   
• The date of the grievance; and   
• The name and contact information of the person submitting the grievance.
